Christian McBride, an 8-time GRAMMY winner and Newport Jazz Festival Artistic Director, has excelled as a musician, composer, producer, curator, and educator over three decades. Through his diverse ensembles like Inside Straight and The Christian McBride Big Band, he blends various genres including jazz, funk, soul, and hip hop while nurturing emerging talents such as Christian Sands, Warren Wolf, and Ulysses Owens Jr. McBride's prolific career marks him as one of the foremost figures in contemporary music.
